Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Provide clinical assessments for adults charged with intimate partner domestic violence and referred by court-order for clinical assessment (Domestic Violence Assessment Center, or DVAC). Assessments and corresponding treatment recommendations are conducted/prepared under the supervision of licensed therapists, using validated assessment protocols. Each assessment is peer-reviewed before it is submitted to the attorneys and/or probation services. 2. Individual and/or group therapeutic services for families (spouses, partners, and/or children) of adults charged with DV or other violent offense and who are serving probation through Shelby County Probation Services. Family members will be contacted by letter from Pre-Trial Services making a referral to the agency. The agency will receive a copy of the referral in order to coordinate services. Services are to include: Group therapy (e.g. sessions for adult and/or child) Individual counseling 3. Parenting classes for spouses/partners of adults serving probation for DV or other violent offense. 4. Supervised Visitation for non-custodial parents who are serving probation through Shelby County Probation and are court-referred for supervised parenting time. 5. Quarterly staff development and training seminars, led by therapists, related to best practices and clinical approaches to trauma and family violence.
