This request is for the purchase of concrete materials for NDOT. All materials must meet the Standard Specifications of the Tennessee Department of Transportation (January 2021 Edition) and Special Provisions pertaining thereto. (See the ink to the Specifications of the TDOT (January 2021 Edition) and Special Provisions in the Attachments Sections.) All bagged Pre-mix Cement must be "Portland". All Portland Cement Mix, Gravel Mix and Sand Mix proposed must be in bags at the weight specified, and must meet or exceed the specifications of the attched American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM) C 387 PDF. The Flowable Fill item(s) shall be excavatable with a 100 max psi and meet the attached Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (Section 200) PBF. All fees (environmental, delivery, etc) shall be included in the unit price of the concrete. The contractor shall deliver concrete materials to multiple service locations determined by NDOT at the time of fulfillment. NDOT will provide the delivery location at the time of fulfillment and prior to the delivery. Deliveries should be scheduled during normal business hours (Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm CST, excluding holidays). Deliveries outside these hours would need to be coordinated with between the contractor and Metro departmental representative.
