Specifications include, but are not limited to: Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide comprehensive health screenings in Early Period Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) to TennCare eligible enrollees/students and privately insured Pre-K through 12th grade by licensed medical providers with follow-up and/or referral as needed. MNPS reserves the right to award multiple contracts from this solicitation, should it be in the best interest of MNPS to do so. The resulting Contract(s) will assist with special, scheduled events with a focus in the summer along with special events throughout the regular school year. Provide comprehensive health screenings, including immunizations, (this would be on an as needed basis and for scheduled events with Student Health Services) to TennCare eligible and privately insured enrollees/students Pre-K through 12th grade. Contractor will communicate directly with parents concerning referral or follow-up care needs and document related activities and maintain records pursuant to HIPPA guidelines. Conduct follow-up on 100% of students referred for urgent medical treatment. Provide data entry of client services for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and statistical purposes. Provide reports required or specified including the Annual Data and Compliance School Health report to the State Department of Education. Provide oversight responsibility for the project, including recruitment, training and supervision of staff, including medical staff and nurses. Provide transportation for the teams responsible for health care screenings to various MNPS sites.
