EPB is seeking pricing and lead time information for three-phase pad-mount transformers with a primary voltage rating of 12,047 volts and a secondary voltage rating of 120/208 volts. We are specifically interested in units sized at 1000 kVA, 1500 kVA, and 2000 kVA, with an immediate focus on identifying costs and availability for up to three (3) units at the 1500 kVA rating. These types of transformers have not been purchased by EPB in the past, and at this time, we do not have a forecast or projection for future demand. Our intent is to better understand current market pricing and delivery timelines for these units, particularly to support near-term needs for the 1500 kVA model. EPB plans to make these transformers inventory items and will award this competitive bid based on the combination of unit pricing and lead times. While these units are not required to meet Build America, Buy America (BABA) requirements, we do request confirmation as to whether they comply with BABA standards.
