Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Regental Libraries Consortium (RLC), on behalf of the South Dakota Board of Regents (SDBOR), seeks to license and obtain access to one or more of the following resources that will support and advance teaching, learning, research, and technology transfer at the SDBOR universities: a. A robust and expanding abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature in the social sciences, natural sciences, computational sciences and mathematics, biomedical sciences, applied science and technology, and arts and humanities. b. A comprehensive research intelligence tool(s) for managing, measuring, analyzing, reporting, and visualizing research productivity at all levels of SDBOR activity—individual faculty members and researchers, departments, research centers, schools and colleges, campuses, and the regental system, as well as discovery and analysis of research activity and performance at universities and research institutions in the U.S. and internationally so as to support and advance SDBOR researchers in their efforts to compete and collaborate. c. A robust citation management tool that supports students and faculty in all phases of the research, writing, and publishing process. Users of the services are authenticated and validated through IP address authentication.
