Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Office of the State Engineer, on behalf of the South Dakota Board of Regents, is soliciting Statements of Interest from firms interested in providing professional engineering services for the project referenced above. The project scope will involve the design, bid and construction for a heating-cooling system upgrade in Heston Hall (administration building) at the Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota, OSE # R0417--03X. Heston Hall's main heating and cooling is through hydronic loops with fan coils in each space. Ventilation air is supplied by two air handling units which were replaced in 2015. The hydronic loop piping and fan coil units were installed in the early 1970's and are in need of replacement. Funding will need to be secured for the construction of the project based on the design teams opinion of cost resulting from the initial design. Due to the occupancy and function of the building, construction will likely be phased by each floor of the building.
