Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide a complete preventative maintenance and repair program including, but not limited to, examinations, cleaning, painting, lubrication, adjusting, replacements, replacement parts, repairs and testing on all parts of the vertical transportation equipment listed in Attachment A. This shall include, but not limited to, machines, worms, gears, thrust bearings, drive sheaves, sheave bearings, brake pulleys, brakes, brake coils, linings, motors, motor generators, ropes, hydraulic power units, hydraulic pumps and valves, silencers, mufflers, controllers, selectors, relays, contactors, solid state devices, transformers, resistors, door tracks and door seals, track and all related control equipment. It also includes safety governors, governors sheaves, car safeties, hydraulic plungers, bolster plates, jack packings, deflector and secondary sheaves, bearings, car and counterweight buffers, car and counterweight guide rails, limit switches guide shoes (slide and roller), door operators, car and hatch door hangers, contacts, interlocks, auxiliary door closing devices, safety edges, photo eyes, emergency light systems, including batteries, car fans, car frames, platforms, all pit sump pumps and all other related devices, except the following: 1. Car enclosures (including removable panels, door panels, car gates, plenum chambers, hung ceilings, light diffusers, handrails, mirrors, carpet and tile flooring); 2. Rail alignment, when affected by building compression or shifting; 3. Hoistway enclosures, hoistway gates, doors, frames and sills, inserts and brackets, mainline disconnect switches, swing door hinges and closing devices, underground hydraulic jack cylinders including underground piping and fittings, plungers, exterior panels, shirt and deck panels, balustrades, wedge guards and smoke sensors.
