Specifications include, but are not limited to: Excavation is anticipated to continue below the water table. Appropriate equipment to maintain dewatering during excavation activities will be the responsibility of the selected Contractor and should be considered in the price of the bid. In the event the contractor determines the product/water mixture removal will be greater than 50,000 gallons, prior approval must be obtained from the UST Division project manager. In such cases, costs for the additional disposal exceeding 50,000 gallons will be paid at the rate of $0.44 per gallon. C.
