Specifications include, but are not limited to: Highway safe vehicles that meet the following requirements: Vehicles that are in compliance with all federal, state, county and local requirements; Lift vans/vehicles with wheelchair lifts for special need clients (as needed and must meet ADA guidelines); Vehicles with functioning seat belts, restraints and at least two (2) seat belt extensions; Smoke free vehicles; Vehicles with adequate heating and air-conditioning (temperature must be maintained at levels that are comfortable to the client); Vehicles that meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) (as needed); Clean vehicles free of dirt and litter, torn upholstery or floor/ceiling material and broken seats; Vehicles free from broken mirrors, windows, dents, excessive paint damage; Vehicle with partition cages (as needed); Vehicles that are routinely inspected and maintained; and, Tracking system on all vehicles viewable on Apple and Android devices. Age appropriate car seats (as needed). System for dispatching service requests. The system must be capable of handling advanced reservations as well as request for urgent service. This service must be able to receive and confirm requests in writing (fax, email) and verbally (phone).
