Clemson University has procured a high-speed dynamometer system, located at the Clemson University Restoration Institute (CURI). This system will be used to evaluate new motors and motor drive technologies. Presently, the high-speed side of the dynamometer will be used to evaluate a new motor design. To complete the dynamometer system, Clemson University is seeking a vendor to supply a suitable low-speed shaft electric machine as per the conditions and requirements described herein. The desired electric machine will be installed and setup by Clemson University into the SCE&G Energy Innovation Center – eGRID testbay located at the CURI facility in North Charleston, SC.
