Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor must be licensed, bonded and insured as specified in this bid document throughout the term of the contract. Contractor must be licensed to do business in South Carolina and in Richland County and will meet all the requirements established by law for the operations of a janitorial company. Contractor must have an office from which they work to service this contract located within 50 miles from SCETV headquarters. Contractor must furnish all supervision, labor, materials, cleaning products, tools and equipment (except if hereinafter noted) required and specified for providing Professional Janitorial Services. SCETV business hours are Monday thru Friday 8:30AM to 5PM. Unless otherwise specified in this solicitation or in writing by the facilities director the contractor will clean the facility after normal business hours beginning at 6PM until all services are completed each day. SCETV will furnish the following supplies: can liners, toilet tissue, paper towels, liquid soap, deodorant blocks and dispensers. Bulk dumpsters/trash receptacles will be provided. Recycling efforts are/are not Contractor’s responsibility. The contractor must maintain a shift supervisor that will verify tasks are being performed and completed. There must be a minimum staff of four (4) employees (including the supervisor). All equipment and materials must be used per manufacturer’s directions for each application.
