Specifications include, but are not limited to: The awarded Contractor will perform and carry out those services necessary to complete the Spartanburg County Independent Fire Study not later than the close of business on August 31,2020. Spartanburg County is seeking an experienced consulting firm than can conduct an IndependentFire Study of thirty five (35) individual Fire Departments. The purpose of the audit is to provideinformation and recommendations for strategic planning and County financial decisions. The consultant will include in the study report, a detailed Implementation Plan to assist Spartanburg County and the fire departments serving it's citizenry with the implementation of any recommendations. This plan should include work programs to assist in monitoring project implementation. The audit will review the departments’ budget, policies, jurisdictional risk,staffing, equipment, capacity, and related variables that promote the efficiency and effectiveness of the Fire Departments in meeting budget efficiency, safe fire operation standards, emergency response needs of today and into the future and community risk reduction practices.
