Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Information Technology Management Office (ITMO) is seeking bids for a Statewide Term Contract for EMC Storage Area Network (SAN) equipment and services, as listed herein and in accordance with all requirements stated herein. The STATE’S goal is to establish multiple contracts with the manufacturer’s best distributors with regards to the discount off of the manufacturer’s list price, expert technical advice, expert installation technicians and excellent repair and warranty performance. Please Note: Cloud products are excluded from this agreement. PRICES Prices under this contract are "not to exceed" prices. State agencies are not authorized to pay more than the contracted price. Contractors may offer and agencies may accept prices below those listed on the contract at any time. Manufactures may offer special promotions during the term of this contract that may be time limited. VOLUME PURCHASES: The State is aware that additional discounts should apply to volume purchases and has negotiated additional volume discounts for volume purchases. All contractors will provide the additional discounts offered for volume purchases made under this contract. Please see the bid schedule, section VIII on page forty-six (46) to the additional discounts offered. MANUFACTURERS DISCOUNT OFF OF LIST PRICE The State has negotiated the best discount off of the manufacturer’s list price for this contract. The discount off of list price is referenced to the current manufacturer’s list price as of January, 2017 and will be the reference price for all pricing. The State will post the most current pricing on the States pricing web page for each contract. The manufacturers (EMC) price list as of January, 2017 is attached in the SCEIS on-line procurement system and hereby included as part of this solicitation. HELP DESK The Contactor(s) must be able to provide full time sales and repair/warranty staff, along with twenty-four (24) hour Help Desk Services to each county in South Carolina. (See service and support maintenance requirements on page eighteen (18). The State requires that each Contractor will provide to the State a toll free 1-800 telephone number for this twenty-four (24) hour Help Desk Service. Each Contractor must provide the Name of Dealer(s) or branch office(s), Location(s) and Function(s) (sales, help desk, installation, inventory, warranty, etc.) of the offices that will provide technical and administrative support in the successful execution of this contract.
