Specifications include, but are not limited to:With this solicitation, South Carolina’s Information Technology Management Office seeks to establish a State Term Contract with qualified Cisco resellers in order to facilitate the acquisition by Using Governmental units (UGUs) for specific Network and Firewall software, hardware, support, and services. It is the State’s intent to seek Cisco resellers who meet or exceed the discount off of the manufacturers list price specified below. Offerors must provide expert technical advice, employ expert installation technicians, and provide excellent repair and warranty performance to be selected for award. Cloud products are excluded from this agreement. ERATE - UNIVERSAL SERVICE FUND DISCOUNT Products being procured under this solicitation may be eligible for Universal Service Fund Discounts. Bidders desiring to participate in the Universal Service Discounts programs must comply with all applicable Federal Communications Commission and South Carolina Public Service Commission rules that apply to these programs. Bidders should indicate their willingness to participate in these programs by returning the signed Attachment A, or responding to the question on the on-line solicitation. Beginning in 2015, E-rate applicants must deduct the value of ineligible components bundled with eligible services unless those ineligible components qualify as “ancillary” to the eligible services under FCC rules. This process is called “cost allocation”. Offeror must separate and illustrate the cost allocation for each component and service in a bundled offering provided to E-rate eligible State entities enabling each entity to properly apply for E-rate coverage of allowable services.
