Specifications include, but are not limited to: Eligible organizations to provide services which support the goals of crisis prevention and diversion. Contractors shall provide one or more of the following services in support of mental health transformation activities in accordance with the service descriptions contained in their proposals and as agreed upon with SCDMH: Provide a American Association of Suicidology certified 24/7 CRISIS line (CL) and Reassurance Line (RL), an evidence-based practice 24/7 warm line that promotes peer support through regularly scheduled telephone calls based upon customized therapeutic goals and objectives. Make calls seven days a week calls to patients to reduce anxiety and isolation, remind patients to take their medications, encourage attendance at treatment programs and to work on other therapeutic goals. Provide a three tiered approach between the Patient, Clinician/Case Worker and Reassurance Line Workers to provide early intervention and long term encouragement. Identify and report signs of early symptoms, encourage treatment compliance and provide a safety net for consumers between appointments. Provides a 24/7 safety net for those in the Reassurance Line program. Responds 24/7 to incoming calls and documents and provide follow up should the Reassurance Line peer support specialists identify a crisis or other concern.
