Specifications include, but are not limited to: Preparation of Construction Plans and Specifications1.Consult with key City staff, to be designated by the City Manager, to review proposed engineering plans prior to construction. 2.Consult with key City staff, to be designated by the City Manager, to develop a time line for construction activities.3.Prepare an updated cost estimate to ensure work is within the proposed project budget. 4.Coordinate all work with any subcontractors or third parties involved in the project.5.Prepare bid package to include bid specifications, conditions, bid surety/performance bonding requirements. 6.Ensure all work is conducted by individuals or companies that are duly licensed and insured. Anyone conducting business inside the City of Cayce is required to have a City of Cayce business license. 7.Permitting services and all services during construction. Permitting ServicesPrepare any necessary applications for construction permits to be filed with agencies having jurisdiction. All plans and construction activities must comply with regulatory standards set by SCDHEC and any other applicable agencies.Bidding ServicesContractor will coordinate all bids by subcontractors and payment of subcontractors to ensure the project remains within the project budget.
