Specifications include, but are not limited to: Qualified contractors to provide a robust, interactive, high speed emergency notification system to be used for crisis communications. It must be capable of efficiently sending notifications to thousands of students/faculty/administration/parents prior to, during and after a crisis or emergency. This system will be a key component of the college’s campus safety and emergency communication strategy. The college also intends to use the system to provide non-emergency but vital college related information to students/faculty/administration/parents. An example of such messages will be notices sent to specific students that are in jeopardy of losing class schedules due to non-payment deadlines. The solution must be capable of receiving recipient identification/contact information from external data sources such as the college’s ERP system and publishing both emergency and non-emergency alerts.
