Specifications include, but are not limited to: upgrade their on-premises backup solution with a single scalable appliance that supports current data backup and retention best practice methodologies. The enterprise level solution must be resilient and provide the highest service level agreements (SLAs) in terms of recovery point objective (RPO) and recovery time objective (RTO). The desired solution is a single scalable hardware appliance that supports our current and future needs of on-premises and cloud data backup and recovery of standalone and virtual servers; data retention management and disaster recovery tasks of reviving multiple virtual machines. The proposed upgrade would enhance the sustainability efforts focused on critical IT systems that include: College’s ERP System (Ellucian Banner), Enterprise Communication Systems (VOIP, Skype for Business, Email), Virtual Server Environment (Windows and Linux), System Databases (SQL and Oracle) and Azure Active Directory Services.
