Specifications include, but are not limited to: The College desires a single, CCTC-branded, applet-based, mobile application capable of integrating seamlessly with the institution’s Enterprise Resource Planning System (Ellucian Banner 8), Learning Management System (Desire2Learn), Ellucian Degree Works, student e-mail (G-Mail), and Emergency Notification System (BlackBoard Connect). In addition to integration with the aforementioned services, the mobile platform solution should provide access to a library of support applets appropriate for use in college and university environments (e.g. employee directory, news and announcements, event calendar, campus maps, etc.) with integration capability into existing directory, news, and calendar data sources (CCTC website and Ellucian Luminis Web Portal). The College is currently engaged in migration planning to transition student e-mail to Office 365 and upgrades are planned for the institution’s ERP solution to update to Banner XE. The mobile solution must provide support for the College’s current enterprise applications as well as support future migration plans to Office 365 and Banner XE.
