Our Elementary andBus Garage locations are on Cox Communication’s VoiceManager platform. We utilize a VPLS connection provided by OSHEAN on Cox 1Gig circuits to connect our locations together allowing our buildings to be on the same Class A subnet. Furthermore, we run VMWare vCenter 6.7 with each location having a virtual host at least ESXI 6. Our highest priority is ensuring we are adhering to all e911 legislation, replacing our aging phone system while utilizing existing infrastructure (wiring, components) where possible, and having a managed transition from our old to new system. We are interested in an onsite PBX and SIP trunk solution at this time. We need a system that is capable of connecting and working with our Bogen public address (PA) systems, capable and configured to use the phone speaker feature to function as a PA, cross campus/cross district PA announcements through the phone system, a system that will work with our current Panasonic, soon to be Yealink intercom phones for building access, four digit intra-district dialing, and e911 notification features required by law. WPS is also looking to ensure exact room, building specific e911 location information is sent to emergency services when a phone dials 911. Additional needs are listed in our General Requirements and Scope of Work. In addition, WPS reserves the right to select which buildings may or may not receive the proposed system and the bidder will accommodate WPS needs.
