Specifications include, but are not limited to: Conduct a site review of existing traffic conditions and analysis of existing pedestrian signal equipment. Meet with staff from the Department of Public Works, Police Department, and School Department as needed to obtain information related to the signal and crossing. Develop recommendations for improvements to the traffic signal and crossing with construction cost estimates, and prepare a preliminary signal/crossing improvement plan for City staff review. Prepare plans and technical specifications on the selected improvement plan for bidding purposes. The City will package the Consultant’s plans and specifications into the City’s bidding documents. The City will be responsible for the administration of the contract bidding process and advertisement of the project.
