Specifications include, but are not limited to: Design and installation of a fully functional new stainless steel kitchen exhaust hood in accordance with NFPA 96, that meets or exceeds Rhode Island state and local codes. Design and installation of an ANSUL wet chemical fire suppression system to protect commercial cooking equipment and exhaust hood in accordance with NFPA 96, 17A, UL300, that meets or exceeding Rhode Island state and local codes. Installed ANSUL system is to be integrated into fire alarm system and roll up fire shutters. Contractor must relocate two sprinkler heads and natural gas line. Removal of HVAC duct work above drop ceiling and cap end of line at block wall penetration to allow full size hood to wall. The Contractor is to provide fully approved designs and plans stamped or approved by the State Building Commission prior to acceptance of the intended system.
