Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Providence Department of Planning and Development (the Department), the Providence Redevelopment Agency (Agency) and Providence Business Loan Fund (PBLF) are seeking proposals from a qualified Environmental Consultant to provide environmental due diligence, compliance management, and regulatory coordination and liaison services to support environmental management issues at City-owned properties. Activities which may be required under this contract include providing expertise in freshwater and coastal wetland regulations that apply to redevelopment projects ongoing within the City, lead paint and asbestos inspection and monitoring and abatement, compliance management support for City owned operations and activities addressing air, waste water, storm water and solid and hazardous waste management and compliance, supporting the investigation and remediation of numerous vacant and/or underutilized (brownfield) properties located throughout the City of Providence, and identifying and supporting outreach and grant writing opportunities to secure funding or resources in support of projects which benefit the City.
