The property identified as Assessor's Plat 1, Lot 2 (31 Main Street) is 1.38 acres in size. The site currently contains an historic 20-foot by 60-foot single-story brick and a foundation and slab from a former industrial building. The property has a recorded Environmental Land Use Restriction (ELUR). The Town has had a property survey completed for the property, as well, as a complete structural analysis of both the existing 1200 square foot brick building and the slab and foundation. The Town's development goals for the site include maximizing the site's development potential and contributing to the vibrancy of the recently improved Water Street corridor, while also serving as significant gateway into the Town which will also serve as a catalyst for reinvestment in the Main Street corridor.
