Specifications include, but are not limited to: The primary role of the document custodian is to make required pool or loan certifications and to maintain physical and custodial control of the related pool, loan and/or loan package documents. RIHousing will submit to the document custodian, via overnight mail, pool and/or loan documents requiring certification for pooling or purchase by either GNMA, FNMA or FHLMC. The document custodian will review all pools and/or loan documentation that has been submitted by RIHousing for certification to determine whether such pool and/or loan documents satisfy the document requirements for certification as set out by the intended investor. The document custodian will ensure that certifications are made accurately and timely and will communicate back to RIHousing the certification status of all submitted documents in an efficient and timely manner.
