The successful quoter shall: 1. Perform quarterly inspection and maintenance tasks at permitted locations designated by ERM. 2. Coordinate inspection, maintenance and/or repair services with ERM. 3. Provide storage, repair, maintenance and/or refurbishment services at their facility 4. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to complete the scope of work specified herein. 5. Store all equipment and supplies necessary to complete scope of work specified herein. INSPECTIONS/MAINTENANCE 1. Quarterly Inspection/Maintenance: Maintenance inspections shall be scheduled at the beginning of each quarter and the successful quoter shall notify ERM in advance of the maintenance schedule by phone or email for that quarter. In the event that bad weather prohibits the successful quoter from meeting the maintenance schedule, an extension may be requested via phone or email from the County. 2. Rotation Sites: Breakers Reef has seventeen (17) anchor pin locations with up to ten (10) buoys in use at all times. Mar A Lago Reef has twelve (12) anchor pin locations with six (6) buoys in use at all times and Boca Raton Patch Reef has twenty (20) anchor pin locations with ten (10) buoys in use at all times. Each site shall have the active buoys relocated to the vacant anchors on an annual basis. All vacant anchors shall be marked with subsurface buoys. 3. Maintenance Tasks: During each inspection, the mooring buoys, lines, hardware and anchors shall be inspected and cleaned, removing all fouling organisms. Inspections shall also include all vacant anchors. The following activities shall be performed at each inspection: • Inspect pick-up line and buoy clean-off excess marine growth (and replace if necessary). • Inspect and clean exposed portion of the buoy through-line (and replace if necessary). • Inspect exposed portion of the downline and protective hose for wear and damage (and replace if necessary). • Inspect shackle for wear and damage (and replace if necessary). Note: The shackle pin shall be replaced when at least 10% of wear is observed. • Inspect anchor mount site and surrounding area. Look for movement of anchor or surrounding substrate. If the anchor has been compromised, the buoy assembly shall be removed immediately, and the County shall be notified. • Clean excess marine growth from each vacant anchor. • Immediately report any observed issues to the County. • Repair or replace sub-surface buoys. 4. The successful quoter shall be responsible for storing all buoys and ground tackle, including supplies donated to the County from third parties at no additional cost to the County.
