The Project consists of replacing the existing dedicated outside-air air handler that serves the west side of the building, two air cooled chillers with a new air handler, two roof mounted air handlers, and two new air cooled chillers. The existing fan coil units served by the existing air handler will be replaced with hot water VAV boxes. The existing ductwork served by the air handler will be replaced and return ductwork added. Hot water piping serving the new air handlers and new VAV boxes will be added and tied into the hot water piping serving the new air handlers. Nd new VAV boxes will tie into the to water piping serving the units on the east side of the building. Two new chilled water and two new hot water pumps will be provided, with one of each being redundant. New expansion tanks and air separators will also be provided for the chilled water and hot water systems. The new chillers, VAV boxes, and air handlers will be connected to the existing Johnson Controls BAS system. Johnson Controls recommends upgrading the controls. The ductless split systems will be replaced with units that are correctly sized for the areas they serve.
