The Successful Bidder shall provide all labor, supervision, material, equipment, etc., as required, to successfully provide leaf disposal facilities. A. Technical Specifications 1. The Successful Bidders disposal facilities shall be open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am through 5:00 pm. 2. The Successful Bidders shall accept leaves brought to their disposal facility from County of Henrico, Department of Public Works and their contracted leaf pickup/collection suppliers as designated by the County of Henrico. 3. The Successful Bidders shall have the necessary equipment capable of pushing up the leaves and weighing the dropped tonnage. 4. The Successful Bidders shall provide disposal/scale tickets for every truck load of leaves brought in by the County’s designated leaf pickup/collection suppliers and the County’s DPW drivers. The disposal/scale tickets shall indicate the weight of the load, designated supplier’s name or County’s truck number, and the disposal date. 5. Once the leaves are deposited at the Successful Bidder’s facility, it becomes the property of the Successful Bidders. 6. The County will conduct periodic site visits at any time and without notice to the Successful Bidder’s facility. 7. For the purposes of this contract, if a scale is unavailable for weighing leaves, the following measurements shall be used: a. Single axle truck equals 2 tons b. Tandem axle truck equals 4 tons c. Trailer equals 25 tons
