Maintain turf in a healthy, growing condition by performing the following operations and other work incidental thereto. 1. Mowing and Trimming: Turf shall be mowed to a height of two (2) to three (3) inches, using a flail, reel or rotary type mower, at least once every 10-day cycle during the season of active growth, generally between mid-March and the first week in December. Rough cutting shall not be permitted. Turf shall be mowed as otherwise necessary to maintain a neat, trim appearance. The Contract Administrator shall have sole discretion to conclusively determine the season of active growth. Elimination of any mowing cycles or areas to be mowed shall be at the sole discretion of the Contract Administrator, or designee.
