Contractor services are required to clean and remove material from the bottom of Enhanced Nutrient Removal (ENR) tanks 5 through 12 (8 tanks), replace all the membrane discs and repair diffuser piping that are part of each tank’s diffused aeration system and jet, clear and CCTV ENR drain piping. These ENR tanks are located at the Henrico County Water Reclamation Facility (HCWRF) site. The site address is 9101 WRVA Road, Henrico, Virginia 23231. The work shall be performed as specified herein, as shown on the Project drawings and in accordance with local and national codes and standards. The Contractor’s work shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, or in this order, the following: a. Provide all the supervision and labor required to complete work as shown and specified. b. Provide all equipment and tools required for entry into the tanks, cleaning and removal of material from the tank floor, transport of removed materials to designated on site disposal location, removal and replacement of all the tanks’ diffuser membrane discs, and repair of diffuser air distributor lateral piping as needed. c. Sewer jet clean, vacuum out jetted materials and CCTV ENR tanks’ drain piping. d. Protect existing HCWRF buildings, lawn areas, roads, lighting, and other equipment and piping from damage while working on site. Any damages by the Contractor, or their subcontractors and suppliers shall be repaired at their expense. This includes filling and leveling of ruts with topsoil, seeding, fertilizing and covering with straw. e. Furnish all equipment and personnel required for the proper and safe execution of work in accordance with applicable standards, regulations, codes, and practices. f. Clean up after all work activities making sure to prevent and not create or leave hazardous conditions for HCWRF staff to work around.
