Chesapeake College (Owner) is requesting proposals for Professional Architectural and Engineering (A/E) Services for a new Technical Building (Skilled Trades), roadway, and loading/storage/parking addition. The hard construction cost for the building and the site development is approximately $48,445,000. The estimated Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) cost is $5,007,000. The A/E shall design the building project within the project construction cost budget. The delivery method for the project will be Construction Manager At Risk with Guaranteed Maximum Price (CM At Risk with GMP). The Owner will procure the services of the CM At Risk shortly after procuring professional A/E services. The A/E, CM At Risk, and designated Chesapeake College personnel will work in concert to usher the new QA Technical Building onto the campus by fall 2028
