The County of Butte (hereafter referred to as “County”) is seeking a firm/respondent (hereafter referred to as “respondent”) to provide security guard services on an on-call basis for the Butte County Sheriff’s Office. County anticipates the respondent selected for this work shall provide on-call security guard service for inmates receiving medical care at facilities located outside of BCJ. Medical facilities will include but are not limited to Oroville Hospital, Enloe Medical Center and other hospitals within the local area. Respondent shall provide uniformed armed security guards to maintain constant visual and physical control of the inmate at all times to ensure the custody of said inmate, and the safety and welfare of the guard, professional staff, visitors, and patients at the facility while the inmate is receiving medical treatment.
