HCA is seeking proposals from qualified firms seeking CCE Program Preservation Program funds. State general funds are available for two preservation programs: Program 1 - Operating Subsidy Payments and Program 2 - Capital Projects. Both programs are intended to provide funds to support the immediate preservation of licensed residential adult and senior care facilities serving qualified residents, defined as applicants or recipients of SSI/SSP or CAPI, including the prioritized population of qualified residents who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Funds must be used to supplement, not supplant, other funding available from existing local, state, or federal programs or grants with similar purposes (i.e., existing funds used to support the prioritized population). Respondents (facilities) may apply to one or both funding programs. . Regular maintenance activities to preserve the condition and functionality of existing assets, including routine inspections, repairs, and replacements of components. . Costs associated with upgrading or renovating existing facilities or infrastructure to meet changing needs, improve efficiency, or comply with regulations. . Expenses related to landscaping, site preparation, and infrastructure development, such as roads, utilities, and drainage systems, are also part of capital project funding.
