Specifications include, but are not limited to: SECTION II 1. This project includes the renovation of approximately 10,830 square feet of the existing TXDPS Regional Office located in McAllen, Texas to accommodate the Highway Patrol and Driver License divisions serving the McAllen area. Additionally, the project will address certain exterior aspects of the facility including ADA/TAS accessibility updates, paving repairs and building envelop cleaning and damp proofing. SCOPE OF SERVICES SECTION III 1. Scope of services will include confirmation of space program, implementation of space program into an interior renovation design, evaluation and potential design of existing building system upgrades; HVAC, electrical/lighting, plumbing, fire protection, roofing, evaluation and design of exterior improvements including ADA/TAS accessibility updates, paving repairs and building envelop cleaning and damp proofing. All regulatory requirements for State construction projects must be addressed including TDLR/Architectural Barriers review, inspection and approval, State Fire Marshall review and approval, and State Energy Conservation Office (SECO). The scope includes preparation of contract documents for soliciting construction bids and assistance in selection through the Competitive Sealed Proposal process of a General Contractor.
