This is a Sources Sought Synopsis to conduct market research for developing a procurement. strategy for a - Base Plus Four (4) - Quarterly Kitchen Hood and Duct Cleaning Services at the following locations: Seattle Veterans Hospital 1660 S Columbian Way Seattle, WA 98108 VA American Lake 9600 Veterans DR SW Tacoma WA 98493 Description of Services: One Firm Fixed Price contract will be awarded for the Veteran Affairs Puget Sound Healthcare System for a contractor to provide quarterly kitchen hood and duct cleaning services. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment required to inspect and clean hoods, ducts and fan systems. All services shall be performed in a workman like manner and shall comply with applicable standards as set forth by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). The contractor will receive the quarterly requirement for inspection and cleaning of exhaust systems from the Puget Sound Safety office. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the service herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the contractor, who in turn is responsible to the Government. The Facility is comprised of 20 Kitchen Exhaust Systems: 12 at the Seattle VAMC and 8 at the American Lake VAMC. The assigned NAICS code is: 561790 Other Services to Buildings/Dwellings, business size standard is $9M. The Government is not soliciting offers at this time, and it will be the Contracting Officer who will determine which suggested changes are accepted. This is a sources-sought notice to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources. A solicitation is not currently available. Responses to this request will be considered for the purpose of determining how the requirements will be stated and how the procurement will be conducted. This sources-sought announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.
