PROJECT TITLE: REPLACMENT OF TWO EXISTING FIRE HYDRANTS PROJECT - CHEYENNE RIVER AGENCY, EAGLE BUTTE, SOUTH DAKOTA
SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is being set-aside exclusively for Small Businesses. Only those vendors that are registered in sam.gov as a Small Business under the stated NAICS Code can submit a bid. All bidders will need to be registered and active at the time bids are due. Those not registered will be eliminated and determined as non-responsive.
BACKGROUND: The Bureau of Indian Affairs has a requirement to replace two existing fire hydrants. The Tribe does have a TERO Ordinance that will apply, copy attached. TERO will only apply if bid is over $25,000.
DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the project in accordance with the Solicitation documents, terms and conditions. Contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract.
PROJECT LOCATION: The work to be performed under this contract will be performed in Eagle Butte, South Dakota, Dewey County.
MAGNITUDE OF PROJECT: As required under FAR Part 36.204, Project Magnitude is under $25,000.
For informational purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 237110 - Water, Sewer Line and related Structures Construction with a size standard of $39.5mil.
SITE VISIT: A formal site visit is not scheduled. To schedule a visit, see additional information under Section L.
BONDING: Due to Government Estimate, bonding is not required.
CONSTRUCTION WAGE RATES: Contractor will also comply with the Construction Wage Rates for Dewey County, South Dakota. A copy of the rates are attached.
PERMITS: Applicable Permits, archeological and environmental clearances have been acquired.
DATES: Bid Opening is set for August 31, 2021 at 2:00 pm CT. The Government anticipates the award to be made by September 24, 2021. Notice to Proceed will be issued after award, with 30 days to complete all work after Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued.
