Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project will involve site investigative, design development, and bidding services for a new facility of approximately 48,000 square feet to serve as a Readiness Center for the South Dakota Army National Guard. The new facility will include space for assembly, administration, classroom, supply, and storage. The site will include access roads, personal vehicle parking, government vehicle parking, fuel containment building, unit maintenance training bays, storage buildings, security fencing, and landscaping. Key features of the facility shall include reliable systems, low maintenance, ease of access to facility infrastructure, backup power, renewable energy integration, building automation system, access control system, intrusion detection and video surveillance system, and a complex IT infrastructure. This project is required to meet or exceed the requirements of US Green Building Council LEED Silver Certification
