Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4. The area of service in the City in which the Contractor will perform services pursuant to these specifications will include all locations identified by the City of Brookings. A list of these locations is attached. 5. COLLECTION. The Contractor will use suitable vehicles using a sealed container for the collection and disposal of garbage and solid waste in the City. The Contractor will collect and remove garbage and solid waste, and will perform recycling services, as defined below, from all locations and in the prescribed frequency as described in the attached listing. 6. GARBAGE, SOLID WASTE SUBJECT TO COLLECTION. Garbage and solid waste includes all garbage, animal waste, rubbish and other materials placed in City facilities. The Contractor will not collect hazardous waste or other wastes that have been identified by local, State or Federal laws, rules or regulations as “hazardous” or “toxic”, or as otherwise not being appropriate for disposal in a municipal landfill (“Hazardous Waste”).
