Specifications include, but are not limited to: Act as the “project point person” for communication with the project team members,potential vendors and service providersStructure a process to compare 1) renovating their existing facility and 2) building a newfacility.Managing the project team assembly process following the requirements of the City ofBrookings and the State of South Dakota.Guiding the project team through conceptual design and corresponding cost estimatingprocessCreating a comprehensive project budget and schedule for 1) renovating the existingfacility and 2) building a new ground up facility. Budget to include all anticipated projectrelated costs; Assist the City throughout the design phase with activities such as setting up andorganizing design meetings, reviewing design, and providing experience-basedrecommendations.Assist project team with activities such as value engineering, cost benefit analysis, lifecycle analysis, development of bid package strategy, constructability reviews, andoperating cost estimates.Oversee the process to obtain a tight and well defined Guaranteed Maximum Price.
