The El Paso County Procurement & Contracts Department is seeking bids from qualified general contractors for tenant finish at the County Clerk and Recorder's DMV East Facility located at 5650 Industrial Place, Colorado Springs, CO 80916. Approximately fifty percent of the current HVAC system will be upgraded to meet the future occupant loads. This new system will include the demolition of one existing unit, the addition of a new interior air handler and one exterior condensing unit for the 5,900sqft second floor. A boiler will also be added to the existing snow melt piping currently installed around the building. Two new rooms will need to be created within the existing first floor warehouse to house the new mechanical units.
