Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Plan: Develop a steam system map of all of steam trap locations in AutoCAD format showing unique identifiers for each steam trap. Owner to approve identifier naming convention. • Identification: Survey every steam trap to be tagged with durable identifying label corresponding to the plan identifiers. Removal of any prior steam trap tags is required to limit identification confusion. • Condition Assessment: Identify the condition (size, type/functionality, failed/functional, recommended trap size/type, etc.) for each steam trap. Explicitly identify in a separate consolidated list steam traps that are recommended to be repaired/replaced either due to a faulty condition or an improper application of a steam trap due to size or type.
