Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Work to include but not limited to:a)Remove and dispose of:i.Contractor will remove all cast iron and abs sewer waste lines, vents, fittings, pipehangers and incidental items as defined in the Plans, Specifications and SpecialInstructions and as necessary to complete the project as intended.ii.Contractor will removethe existing waste lines and vents as close to the bottom of theplywood sub-flooring as possible.iii.If the existing connection is not accessible, contractor will neatly cut the waste line asclose as possible to the bottom of the existing plywood sub-floorleaving sufficient roomfor a fitted connection.iv.Contractor will remove the existing toilets from the first-floor water closets, remove theexisting toilet flanges and install new ones. Contractor will re-install the existing watercloset and neatly caulk the base.v.Contractor will remove all pipe and construction debris daily.2.Provide and install plumbing:a)Contractor will provide and install all new DWV abs schedule 40 waste lines, vents, fittings,connections, hangers, and any other items necessary for a complete installation. All work will bedone in accordance with the plans, Specifications/Special Instructions, and the current plumbingcode.b)Contractor will water test the new waste lines as provided in the Specifications and SpecialInstructions.3.Provide and install Vapor Barrier:a)Contractor will clear the crawl space of all rocks, concrete, and debris. Contractor will rake thecrawl space to a relatively even surface.b)Contractor will provide and install new Visqueen Vapor Barrier as provided in the Specificationsand Special Instructions.4.Provide and install Plywood Backing at First-Floor Water Closets:a)Contractor will provide and install new 1 1/8” plywood backing under the new toilet flanges asprovided in the Specifications and Special Instructions.
