Specifications include, but are not limited to: film, production and broadcast services to the City of Reno for cable channels 192 and 194, the Granicus online meeting portal, and the City of Reno YouTube channel. The City of Reno currently owns and operates PEG (Public, Educational, Government Access) channels 192 and 194 on Charter Spectrum. The purpose of the City’s film, production and broadcast services is to provide the Reno citizens with pertinent, timely information concerning their regional government through the City’s television channels, Reno.gov and social media (including, but not limited to, YouTube). The services will be for live broadcasts of City of Reno Regular or Special/Joint Sessions of the Reno City Council and Redevelopment Agency, Reno City Planning Commission meetings and any “other meetings” such as community meetings or State of the City (SOTC). Most meetings are held at Reno City Hall in the Council Chamber, with few exceptions.
