Specifications include, but are not limited to: A) Vacuum tanker trucks will hook up to a 4” header pipe for one of the basins and remove approximately 5,000 to 6,000 gallons (more or less) of sludge per load Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00am and 3:30pm with the last truck arriving at facility before 2:30 PM. B) The sludge will be transported for disposal to an approved site utilized by the successful bidder. This process will obviously require several trips to remove sludge from one or both of the water plant sludge basins. C) Only one sludge basin can be taken "out of service" at a time. All trucks are subject to an inspection by security personnel. Limit of two trucks at the facility at all times and drivers must sign in at the Authority offices before loading. F. This means that for each cleaning approximately 90,000 gallons more or less, of sludge is to be removed for hauling and disposal.
