Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendors to provide telemedicine services (“TM Services”) to its 500 Management Employees and approximately 2,200 retirees and their dependents (“Participants”). In this context, the selected Proposer will offer Participants 24 hours per day/7 days per week access to non-emergent health care. These TM Services are defined as the HIPAA-compliant delivery of health care services such as diagnosis, consultation or treatment through the use of interactive audio, video, or other electronic media to improve a person’s health and well-being. The selected Proposer must provide, at a minimum, the following: 24/7/365 access to Board-Certified physicians. Unlimited physician consults via phone or videoconference. Doctor diagnosis and recommend treatment for non-emergency conditions. Ability to submit prescriptions electronically, in a HIPAA compliant environment, to the Participant’s pharmacy of choice. It is expected that the percentage of consults resulting in a prescription (consult prescription rate) remains consistent with or below the national average rate at brick and mortar practices. An online Personal Health Record for Participant to share with their physician. Reports documenting utilization of TM Services by Participants.
