Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project consists of upgrading the existing SCADA system, installation of a control system (RTU) at each tank and booster station site (14 total sites). RTU’s are modular, relatively low-cost, and well understood by an average integrator. This system is well-suited for the various TCJMA sites, as it operates on cellular data from a variety of carriers, and will not be hindered by the surrounding hills. The SCADA system also relies upon a web browser-based control center to view facility status and change set points. This provides TCJMA operators and management with the flexibility to monitor and control the distribution system without physically being inside of the TCJMA WTP. The control center is also able to generate many types of different reports and visual aids to illustrate the current status of the system, and all of the telemetry data is backed up. Other requirements under this contract will include local and state road permitting, paving, fence, and grass restoration.
