Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The project consists of Additions and Renovations for the Schwenksville Borough Administration Building, 300 Main Street, Schwenksville, Pennsylvania 19473, as shown on the Contract Documents prepared by Richard Kapusta and Company Architects and Planners Dated 23 August 2019. B. Prime Contracts – there are no separate prime contracts on this project. All work is to be included in one bid under the General Contract. Sub-Contract work would include the following: 1. General Construction Contract: any work not done by the GC. 2. Plumbing work. 3. Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) work, also known as mechanical work. 4. Electrical work. C. The Contract shall include the work described in: 1. The Agreement. 2. The General and Supplementary Conditions. 3. All divisions of the Specification. D. The Work of the Contract: shall be summarized as follows: 1. Earthwork - sidewalks, outdoor spaces around the building, and preparation of the building pads for additions. 2. Foundations. 3. Structural systems. 4. Concrete and masonry construction. 5. Thermal and moisture protection. 6. Exterior and interior finishes. 7. Building specialties. 8. Temporary heat, lighting and other facilities as specified in the “Temporary Facilities” section. 9. Demolition of existing structures and items required to do specified work. 10. Preparation and placement of new mechanical pads. 11. General site cleanup within area of work.
