Specifications include, but are not limited to: Applicant, working with designated staff, will be responsible for the following: 1. Assessing current revenue-generating financial processes and systems, developing recommendations for their improvement, and implementation assistance; 2. Providing subject matter expertise on federal and state funding programs and how changes to them could affect Philadelphia; 3. Identifying process changes and enhancements necessary to increase DHS’ ability to maximize revenues and reduce reliance on local sources; 4. Developing and/or implementing systems or processes to improve tracking of countylevel investment and reimbursement levels; 5. Developing and conducting trainings for DHS staff on new policies and procedures as well as to improve internal technical capacity; 6. Assisting as needed with other revenue maximization efforts that may arise as the result of changes to federal, state, or local laws, regulations, or bulletins. Applicant staff must be readily available to meet with DHS management as needed
