Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Utilize Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc. to perform an infrared moisture survey prior to beginning restoration work. Remove and replace areas of wet or damaged insulation on a unit cost basis. Mechanically fasten new polyisocyanurate insulation to match existing insulation thickness and adhere new 60 mil EPDM with 6 inch seam tape tie-ins. 2) Re-secure areas of loose roof membrane with poly batten bar fastened 12” o. c. and covered with EPDM cover strip. Include 100 ln. ft. of re-securement in the Base Bid. Provide a unit cost to increase or decrease the amount of re-securement to be performed. 3) Clean roof membrane and flashing system with a pressure-washing system with 100% water recapture to remove dust and dirt from the surface of the existing system. 4) Repair any miscellaneous defects with EPDM repair materials or Geogard Seam Sealer and Permafab. 5) Install AlphaGuard Bio Base Coat with a fully embedded ply of Permafab over all EPDM membrane and flashing seam areas. The Base Coat coverage rate in reinforcement areas is 3 gallons per SQ.
