The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (hereinafter referred to as SEPTA) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide claims administration services and cost containment services as a Third Party Administrator (TPA) for Personal Injury Protection (“PIP”) Benefit Claims filed and asserted in the state of Pennsylvania under the Motor Vehicle Financial Responsibility Law in accordance with Act IV. The qualified TPA must demonstrates competency, minimizes costs, provides excellent client service, and performs thorough, accurate, and complete management and cost containment services. The vendor will assume the management responsibilities for all legacy claims (claims reported prior to inception of this contract). A full data set of PIP Claims for all legacy claims will be available. TriStar Risk Management is SEPTA’s current TPA.
